Last Day of School for 2011-2012

Thursday, May 24th is the last day of school for Sedalia Park.  12:30 p.m. - No back packs or lunch boxes

End of Year Picnic/music: 10:45 am to 11:45 pm. Parents, bring a blanket or camp chair and join us.  

K-2 will be on the playground and 3-5 will be in the bus parking lot.         

11:55 a.m. 5th grade walks the halls for the last time.

Home Opportunities

- Labeling Ziploc bags pick up 4/23 done by 4/26 need 6 volunteers

- Sort tshirts and stuff bags pick up 4/27 done by 4/30need 6 volunteers

- tie t shirts with rubberbands pick up 5/1 done by 5/7 need 6 volunteers

- Bring Home Cooked Dish of Food for luncheon May 17^th

 drop off food by 10AM !!!(worth 2.5 hours of volunteering)

* Must feed ATLEAST 10 people (preferably NOT store bought)

Appetizers, Salads (please don’t bring me a bag of lettuce and dressing J)

Main Dish (nice sandwiches, chilis, casseroles, chicken fingers/wings etc)

- set up 6am-8am need 2 volunteers

- Face painting 8:15am-11:15am need 4 volunteers

- Set up tie dye tent 7:30-9:00 need 4 volunteers

- Tie dye tshirts with students 8:15am-11:15am need 8 volunteers

- Tie dye tshirts with students 11am-2pm need 8 volunteers

 

Afterschool Opportunities AT SCHOOL

-Sorting tshirts Tues April 24   3pm-5pm need 3 volunteers

CRCT Testing 3rd, 4th and 5th grade

CRCT starts Wed. April 18 for 3rd, 4th, and 5th grades.  Please follow these guidelines for testing.

CRCT testing will be held Wed April 18 through Friday April 27 for students in grades 3, 4, and 5 only. To ensure a successful testing period, please make sure your child:

• Gets a good night's rest
• Eats a healthy breakfast (limit sugar)
• Is ON TIME to school
• Praise your child for their hard work this year.
• Relax!  The more you relax about testing, the more your child will.
