Accelerated Reader  As the new nine weeks begins, I would like to congratulate those who made their AR goals for the third nine weeks.  We had a dance party on Friday to celebrate this achievement.  It was tons of fun.  Those who made their 3rd Nine Week AR Goals are:

Alexis                           Shukura                                   Khalil                        Liam

Braylon                         Dajae                                       Rondell                      Tyler

If your child did not make their goal this time, please encourage him or her to work hard during the fourth nine weeks.  It is possible for them to make it then.

Supplies  Help!!!!!  We are running out of supplies- especially pencils, tissues, and bandaids.  Please be kind.  While you are doing your weekly grocery shopping, please pick up one of those items for us.  We would greatly appreciate it.

Principal's Math Challenge  During the month of March, our principal, Dr. Thomas, encourages all students learn their math facts. She gives a special test called The Principal's Math Challenge. In third grade, students learn their time tables through ten.  So far the Principal's Math challenge has been given twice.  We only have 2 students who have passed, Henrique and Braylon.  Please encourage your child to learn his/her time tables.  This is a skill that will be needed and used through out life.
