Some Sedalia Park families are going hungry. Did you know that Sedalia Park Elementary has a Social Worker on staff? Her name is Monica Bright, and one of the things she deals with is the challenge of some Sedalia Park families to put dinner on the table each evening. Some students get only the food provided by the school during the day. We are hoping to change this.
With your help we can tackle this problem. We need your help to stock a Food Pantry that can provide 48-hour survival packs and other specific items to families in need. Do you have a stockpile of canned goods or non-perishable items? Are you an excellent coupon shopper? Do you just really want to help? There are several ways to donate - food, coupons, time, and money. Please complete the SPES Food Pantry sign-up sheet to let us know what you can bring to help satisfy our basic pantry needs. Drop your donations by the school at anytime. You can even bring them to the Fall Festival Food Pantry collection boxes.
Contact Monica Bright if you have any questions.
Thank you for your support of this program! We hope that not another Sedalia Park family goes without food on the table.
